Sharing a small exhibition with photographer Billy Bye in his gallery.

think...

Nobody will stop you from creating. Do it tonight. Do it tomorrow. That is the way to make your soul grow — whether there is a market for it or not! The kick of creation is the act of creating, not anything that happens afterward. I would tell all of you watching this screen: Before you go to bed, write a four line poem. Make it as good as you can. Don’t show it to anybody. Put it where nobody will find it. And you will discover that you have your reward.
Kurt Vonnegut

"Field Trip"

                                         Some preliminary sketches......

"Turner Monet and Twombly" at the Liverpool Tate. What a brilliant exhibition of later works and a stroke of genius to sit these three masters side by side. Monet paid close attention to Turner and Twombly was a great admirer of both. In their later paintings these artists struggle with mortality and style . The exhibition is absolute joy and I recommend you have a day trip .We were fortunate enough to be able to take in the Anthony Gormley statues on the beach at Crosby. Truly Inspiring.
